Americans are more confident than ever in the job market

According to Gallup, a record 71 percent of Americans say they are confident in the job market. The polling organization began tracking this trend in 2001 but the latest data shows the highest number yet.

Since the economy has been roaring over the past few years, this news is welcome but not entirely unsurprising. The majority of Americans believe that now is a good time to find a job—and they’re right. Currently, there is a near-record level of available jobs and companies are eager to expand their workforce.

Additionally, unemployment remains below four percent. In short, the indicators and public sentiment show that this is a great time to enter the job market and it’s reassuring that Americans are taking note of this positive trend.
